Cool! I remember this from when Will Stephen wrote it on CH two days ago. But what’s this…the CH watermark has vanished right along with any sort of evidence that this post came from someone other than Bleakparadise. Which, I assure you, it did not.

Look, I get it, the Internet runs on “borrowing” content, but there are unspoken rules to that game. If you’re going to borrow something, you have to credit the source. Or you can do one better and link to the source. You can even reblog the post, which would have been pretty easy since it’s right here. But to scrub a watermark and any identifying info about the writer who created something you enjoy is bullshit. I’m sure Will would like seeing thousands of people enjoying his work, but instead he’ll just be frustrated and annoyed because Bleakparadise has gone to the trouble of removing any evidence of Will’s involvement.

I won’t pretend everyone is going to stop borrowing from each other, but if you’re going to borrow, at least make an attempt to give credit. And don’t go out of your way to pass someone else’s work off as your own, as Bleakparadise has done here.
